Stormy Sea.

Aivazovsky has presented here one more storm scene at sea wherein a sail boat is violently shaken midsea and a boatload of people are nearby. There is every chance that the sail boat is going to sink. The sky is dark with rain clouds and night is approaching. The artist has created a frightening picture and this 1868 oil on canvas can be seen at The tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
