oil on canvas. The weather is stormy and the sea is violent. The water
droplets being tossed in the air as fine spray form a rainbow due to total
internal reflection of the sunlight. There is sufficient sunlight filtering
through the clouds and the water particles. A group of people can be seen
fleeing to safety in a row boat. The author’s favourite topics of
sea and shipwreck are manifested in this painting which is displayed at
