Windmill on the Sea Coast.

This 1837 picture painted as oil on canvas by Aivazovsky depicts a windmill and one gets to know that the wind energy was harnessed even in those days. The man on a horse nearby as well as another with a spear like object surely reminds one of Sancho Panza of the Don Quixote story. On the far left another windmill is shown. This impressive art work can be spotted at The Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.
