Crusifixion.

Antonello’s painting of the CRUCIFIXION has been done in characteristic Italian style. The five grieving ladies at the bottom are shown well, praying for the departed souls.

The horizon and the upper areas of the picture are in light shades and the other areas are painted in darker colour shades, thus a contrasting effect has been achieved.

This oil on wood art work is on display at Szepmuveseti Muzeum in Budapest, Hungary.
