Catavaggio Frank Mike Tyson was born on June 29, 1966, at Brooklyn in the US. He lost his parents while he was just a child. This had an adverse effect on his life. He came in contact with some anti-social elements of Brooklyn township. He joined a group of hoodlums and was soon imprisoned. Larry Holms is also amongst those who have been subdued at his hands. He won the International Boxing Federation championship after defeating Michael Spinks. He defended his title in 1989 by defeating many challengers, but was defeated in 1990. In October, 1996 Tyson was knocked out again by Evander Holyfield in a heavy –weight boxing bout.
