| A young man, soberly dressed up, was going to the church in
London to attend an important meeting. He was Sun Wan. He had no idea that
he was being followed. But, as soon as he crossed the road, the man who
had been following him, started talking to him in pure and simple English.
After the initial complimentaries, both started talking in Chinese. This
man, dressed up in a typical Chinese apparel, was walking on the left side
of Sun Wan. Soon another man joined them and walked on Sun’s right
side. He invited Sun for a cup of tea. Sun politely refused. After some
time, a third Chinese joined Sun and the other two men. Still Sun did not
realize the gravity of the situation. He kept on walking. But, the three
men were now in a hurry to complete their task. They captured Sun Wan and
quickly took him to a room in 49, Portland, Chinese Embassy. Everything
was now clear to Sun Wan. He was captured by the detectives of the Manchu
dynasty. At that time, Manchu dynasty ruled China and since the last 10
days, Sun Wan was wanted by the Manchu King. |
