The Gorkhas are famous in the world for their feats of valour and bravery. Residing in the lap of the Himalayas, the Gorkhas are dark-coloured, have Mongolian features, but are short-statured and sturdy. The Gorkha army is considered to be the best to fight in the mountain regions. Their specialized weapon is 16”-long ‘Khukhri’, which can cut out wood and behead a person with the same speed and sharpness. While fighting, the Goarkhas usually shout “Aayo Gorkhali”.
