The Needlewoman

After a few days’ rest, Jim started his hunt for the tigress in winter. Once again thehide and seek game between the hunter and the victim started. Several times that intelligent man-eater escaped the wrath of Jim’s gun. One day the tigress killed an ox. Jim tied a buffalo at that spot and himself sat on a 20 feet high rock. After a little while, the buffalo suddenly became cautions and started looking downwards. Jim looked towards that side. He saw the tigress. The tigress pounced on the buffalo. He fired at the tigress. The first two shots missed the tigress and she disappeared. Jim was disappointed, but he continued his search. One fine evening, he reached a sandy area in the forest. He saw a tigress. She was perhaps relaxing after having a good feast.
