Jim made a government rest house, situated in the middle of the forest, as his abode. One day, early in the morning, an old woman came crying to him. She told him that a tiger had killed and eaten up her 22-years-old grandson. “Now I have nothing. You take my two buffaloes, but take the revenge of my grandson’s death,” she pleaded. Jim was touched by her plight. He promised to take the revenge.

Now Jim’s journey started. The village headman informed him that 10 days ago a tiger had eaten up a farmer and his wife about 20 miles away on the slope of the mountains
