Arachne

Next day, an officer of the PT Squadron distressingly reported the incident to the headquarters from the Solomon Bay. He wrote: “The previous night, George Ross lost his life for a cause in which his conviction was stronger than all of us, and he was a firm idealist too. John F. Kennedy, the ex-ambassador’s son, was also on the same boat. He too lost his life.”

After a few days, a condolence meeting was held for the departed souls of Kennedy, ross and 11 other soldiers of PT-109. But, did Kennedy and Ross really lost their lives in the horrible Pacific war? No. The whole world knows that it was the same John F. Kennedy, who later became America’s most popular President. The dramatic account of persons on the boat after an accident with the Japanese destroyer was, in fact, al heart-rending story.
