Sorgi passed vital information to Russia. He informed Moscow about the presence of the German army on Soviet fronts, the attack of Hitler on Moscow and Japan’s withdrawal of her policy to attack Russia.

By the end of the war, Sorgi sensed the danger to his life. He wanted to return back to Russia as soon as possible. But, Sorgi was caught before he could do so. He was caught not because of his own fault, but by the confessions made bly the Japanese spy, Ristu, who was caught. Ristu betrayed Sorgi and Klousan. He revealed their true identity and both were caught.
