| Now, half the battle was won. But, even with the help of the
photograph, I at was not easy to locate Adolf. Moreover, Adolf, by then,
had completely changed his personality. He had started the timber business
in Northern Germany and had changed his name to Richard Clement. Laborers
loved him as he always paid their wages on time. Soon he incurred heavy
loss in the business. So, he closed it down and went to Italy with his two
other Nazi friends. And, from Italy, he went to Geneva, where he worked
in a Christian Society for some time. He did this to obtain the Vatican
passport. He got the passport and went to Syria. There he joined the services
of an ex-Nazi. He worked for him till 1949 and kept himself abreast with
the latest developments in the world. |
