Earlier, in 1935, Sorgi traveled to Europe and from there to Koumington, then to New York. From New York, he took the Soviet visa and went to Russia. From Russia, he returned to Japan and started a firm ‘Klousan and Company’ in Tokyo. Soon this company started making and selling printing machines and earned lot of profit. By 1941, it was renamed as ‘Joint Stock Company’, with Klousan’s share being 85,000 Yen in the grand investment of company of one lakh Yen. Sorgi became a millionaire and opened his bank accounts in Shanghai, New York and San Fransisco. Athus, the money required for espionage was easily available.
