| Meanwhile, the Czechoslovakian police caught an old friend
of Adolf, who informed the police about Adolf’s beloved who owned
a factory in Dopal. Freedman sent his Jew friend, Manose, to Dopal. Manose
was handsome and could speak several languages fluently. There he came to
know that Adolf’s beloved, who was a widow, had gone on a holiday
to Badhouze. Manose immediately rushed to Badhouze and stayed in a hotel
with a fake name. He pretended that he was a well-wisher of the Nazi general’s
widow and, in this way, he succeeded in making many friends. Finally, he
was also to locate Adolf’s wife-Libel. He befriended her, but failed
to get any substantial information about Adolf. She herself was unaware
of Adolf’s hideouts. |
