St. John the Baptist
On the other hand, there are many people who do not believe in the existence
of Bhrigu-Samhita and even deny that any person named Bhrigu ever lived.
According to them the so-called Bhrigu-Samhita is nothing but an attempt
by astrologers to defraud the gullible and superstitious people under
a well laid conspiracy. They assert that the entire book is nothing but
a fake account. The astrologers earned their living through this book
and even today their descendants are making hay because of this book.
They are simply taking advantage of the desire of ordinary people to know
their future. It is nothing but psychological exploitation of the simple
and gullible people in a systematic manner.
