Christ Crowned with Thorns

This incident tells us that there were fortune tellers in ancient Greece even 356 years before the birth of Christ. There used to be a temple of Apollo in the hilly regions of Delphi. This place was on seashore and a little distance away from Athens. The ruins of this temple are still extant. The business of predicting future used to be conducted in this temple for twenty four hours on specified days. When one fortune teller got tired, another came to continue the work.
