The House of Ill Fame

Alexander flew into a rage and held Pythia by her arm, nearly dragging her and said, “There can be no limitation of time for Alexander. Do not make me more angry otherwise it shall cause havoc. Go into the temple to meditate and tell me how I shall fare in the future.”

Pythia was nearly breathless. She controlled herself and wrung herself free. “If you insist on knowing then listen,” she said, “You will be acclaimed as the conqueror of the world. But, you shall die in a foreign country in a pitiable condition. You are not to live long, but even your enemies will utter your name with profound respect.”
