Arp, Jean (Hans) Painting - Human Concretion.

This stone sculpture is an abstract art form from Jean done in 1933. Jean describes these rounded stone forms as “three dimensional”. In the field of stone sculpture such a work is rare. This can be seen at Kunsthaus in Zurich.

This work has been done by sculpting white stone. Though there is nothing concrete about the art form and no detailed description can be made this is again an example of Jean’s three dimensional cut with rounded stone edges. Done in 1935 this cast stone work is preserved at The Museum of Modern Arts at New York, USA.
