By July, 1559, emperor Henry had forgotten that he should not indulge in any fight or duel. He covered his body with armur and wore a gold studded helmet. Then, he invited Montgomery, the chief of his guards, for a duel with spears. In no time, had Montgomery’s sper pierced the eyes of the Emperor. During the beginning of August, Emperor Henry died a pinful death dueto infection of injuries in the head.
