Nostradamus presumes the following in the 75th quatrain of the tenth section. “The new century will begin after the use of weapons of mass annihilation which shall decimate humanity. A Hindu leader will then show the new way to the world.

The most important prophesies that Nostradamus has made regarding India are as follows: “The world war shall start after the Mongols use weapons that disseminate rays of death. The war will take a new turn due to India’s friendship with two most powerful countries in the world. The war shall end in the fifth year of the new century: that is, peace will be established in 2006. Europe will abjure its religion and accept the oldest religion in the world. 75% of the humanity will be destroyed in this war. A spiritual leader from South India will guide the world.”
