The Word or Woman-Bird

Nostradamus was a short statured man. His height was only 5’3”, and he never slept for more than four hours a day. He was a quiet man, who talked very little but thought more. He was a strict Roman Catholic and used to fast for two days in a week. He also distributed most of his income amongst the poor.

Nostradamus’ favourite disciple was one Jean Aimes de Chavigny. Chavigny remained with him till the end of his life. According to him, Nostradamus started developing the inner powers after reading ‘Mysteriis Egyptorum’, a book on Egyptian occult science of charms and incantations. Nostradamus demonstrated these powers many times.
