Considered as an institution in himself, Nostradamus is the only person to have made more than 3000 prophesies. There has been no forecaster in the history of mankind who could see so far ahead as Nostradamus. It is said that half of his prophesies have proved to be true. The other half are still to be tested as he has made prophesies regarding events up to the year 3797 A.D. He seemed to have a remarkable control over the science of forecasting as he could feel and sense the coming events hundreds of years before they were supposed to happen. He thought more and talked less. He led a rigorous life as pious Roman Catholic and distributed most of his income to the poor. Most of his prophesies could be placed into the category of premonitions.
