Day and Night

In his work of contacting the spirits, John Dee was assisted by a person named Edward Kelly. He used to act as a medium between the spirits and John Dee. Somehow, he got angry with Dee and left him in 1587.

After this, John Dee withdrew himself into his own world. His work also declined. He always claimed that he could talk to the gods and spirits. Now, suddenly he assumed silence. When he died in 1608, very few people were aware of his name and work.
