The French General La Marliere was being prosecuted in a court. He was very worried about the judgment. His friends amongst the revolutionaries assured him that he would be given some light sentence and released. He consulted Cagliostro who predicted, “The General would be killed by an executioner wearing the uniform of national Security Forces. He will be sentenced to death.” The General was executed and the reputation of Cagliostro soared to new heights
