Jug and Tomatoes.

Altman has once again depicted still life in a very admirable
presentation. The jug’s handle has been fashioned as per the olden day
trends. Tomatoes must have been the main vegetable arrival in the
local market then. Apart from three tomatoes another item like a
cucumber too is shown by Nathan Altman who made this painting in 1912.
This oil on canvas work of art measuring 69.5x49.5 cm is to be seen
at The Russian Museum at St. Petersburg.
