Material Painting. Still Life with a White Jug.

This superb art work of Nathan done in 1919 in oil and enamel on
canvas dwells on the topic of still life pictures in which this author
excelled. The shape of the jug in the painting looks a little puzzling
since stability of the jug is compromised on the tale. There is a
table mat shown upon which the jug is kept. This picture with a
dimension of 84.5x62 cm can be seen at The Russian Museum at
St.Petersburg.
