On his return to England, Cheiro won more plaudits. The newly appointed Chief Justice of England, Russel of Killowen, called him on the day of his assumption of office. He told Cheiro, “Three years back you had prophesied that I shall get my coveted job on July 19, 1894. I am amazed as to how you could calculate things so exactly.” The news of Chief Justice’s appreciation of Cheiro’s competence was another feather in his cap.
