Churchill was born on 30th November 1874 and was the son of Lord Randolph Churchill, a descendant of Duke of Marlborough. He was not good at his studies but he managed to make a career in the army. Then he proceeded to South Africa as a war correspondent of the Morning Post in the Boer War (1899-1900)
