Some empires of a later date gave their rulers titles derived from the name Caesar as ‘Czars’ of Russia and ‘Kaisers’ of Germany. When Caesar entered Roman politics Roman empire was confined to the Mediterranean only but by conquering France, Belgium and parts of Spain, he extended it up to Europe and laid the foundation of Western Europe as we know today.

The first forty years of Caesar’s life was a troubled period in Roman political life. Caesar stayed some monthis in Egypt where he had a son by Cleopatra, then he executed a lightning campaign in 47 B.C. against King Pharnaces in Asia Minor, which he summarized Veni, Vedi, Vici-“I came, I saw and I conquered.
