. In 336 B.C., Alexander became King and Aristotle returned to Athens. On his return to Athens Aristotle opened his own school of philosoph7 called the ‘Lyceum Academy’.

It is believed that Aristotle was the author of about 400 works but unfortunately most of them are not available now. Among the available ones, some well-known works of Aristotle are in politics, metaphysics, rhetoric’s, physics, ethics, histories of animals. Aristotle was a thinker, logician and scientist-all at the same time. He characterized the orientation and content of all that was termed Western Civilization. This famous Greek thinker and philosopher died in 322 B.C. About a year before his death, Aristotle had to flee from Athens because his foes accused him of lack of reverence to God.
