After collapse of Soviet Union in 1991, his ideas and thoughts have been denounced by the present rulers of Russia. But still there are many who regard his ideas and thoughts as continuing hope of world-wide socialist revolution. His embalmed body is still a tourist attraction in a mausoleum in Moscow’s Red Square.
